Okay… i love this… i think my favorite is the third one… but watch em all 
File this under: Way too much time on your hands. The website Jacktracker uses the Google Maps API to add waypoints to a map of L.A. to follow the goings on in the television show 24. At each waypoint they keep track of notes, geographic inconsistancies (such as “there’s now way to get from here to here in 3 mins like they do!), photo’s and body counts. Its all in good fun and if you are as addicted to 24 as I am, it should be a welcome addition to your bookmarks.
I hadn’t actually started watching this show until about three days ago. After watching the pilot I promptly downloaded all of the other 13 aired shows and watched them ALL over the course of the last couple days. I think its safe to say that I REALLY like this show. I think its because it reminds me of a new Friends. The cast consists of NPH (Doogie!!), Alyson Hannigan (that bandcamp girl from American Pie, and I guess she was on Buffy as well) as well as a couple other no names. Although one of those no-names is no longer a no-name to ME! Canadian born Cobie Smulders (pictured above) is definately one of the reasons I will continue to watch this show! I LOVE HER SHE IS HOT. Apparently she’s been in a couple other shows that I’ve never watched like Smallville and The L Word. If anyone could fill me in and let me know if we see anything worth while of her on The L Word that would be fantastic. Might just have to give that show another try. But I digress….
Seriously, the show is really good. If you were a fan of friends, you’ll probably find something oddly comforting about this show, its cast and its story lines. It airs Monday nights on CBS (if i remember correctly, because I don’t actually get cable).
So I watch a lot of tv….. A LOT… but I don’t have cable. So I almost never know when shows actually air anymore (I download off the internet). For this little task I use a really cool AJAX-enabled website called Calendar for TV (or CAT). It really is nothing special or fancy, it simply does what it does, and does it well. That thing being showing me an at a glance rundown of what shows are on what nights and episode information about each. Its especially handy since it doesn’t actually list when repeats are going to be airing (as I don’t care about repeats because I have them on my computer already anyway). Anyway I though maybe someone out there in my little circle of friends might be interested to know. Ciao!

Okay so for those of you that don’t know what Love Monkey is, it is in fact NOT an overly horny zoo animal. It’s a new show starring Tom Cavenah…. (sorry don’t know how to spell his last name), of Ed fame and if you watch Scrubs, he also played JD’s brother.
Basically the show is about Tom, an A&R rep for a record label, and his four friends (one of whom is Jason Priestley… man he’s gotten chubby). Its about music, love and relationships in New York City. So i guess you could equate it to a male version of Sex and the City, but i wouldn’t even pigeon-hole it into that realm. Love Monkey is its own beast.
I’m not really a writer so check out what they have to say over at TV Squad for a better review.
I don’t know what more to say other than, watch this show. I don’t want it to disappear into mid-season replacement limbo!
