So there an article over at Wired about an author who has written a book about how RFID (Radio Frequency Identification — which will ultimately replace barcodes as a means of identifying product) is a sign of the end of all things. Hmmm… a little bit of a stretch if you ask me… but hey, if she’s right i will graciously accept her “i told you so”.
Katherine Albrecht is on a mission from God.
The influential consumer advocate has written a new book warning her fellow Christians that radio frequency identification may evolve to become the “mark of the beast” — meaning the technology is a sign that the end-times are drawing near.
Read the whole thing over at Wired.
In a side note, I am not completely “for” RFID tags. I believe there are some serious privacy concerns that need to be worked out before any major implimentation takes place. If you do a google search for “stop rfid” you will find links aplenty explaining (in copious detail) why some believe RFID tags are bad.

Okay Microsoft. Ditch the dinosaurs and start pitching ad’s like these and maybe you’ll start to win back some of those students your scaring away to join the rebellion (open source!).

I bet that headline caught your attention. It actually WASN’T a ploy just to get you to read this post. I actually do have a link to a bouncing boob (sorry breasts) simulator! This is a really cool link on two fronts; 1) The obvious… bouncing boobs BUT 2) It’s also an amazing use of flash! The intro is really well done, and the fact that they figured out how to render 3D bouncing boobs is beyond me! And just to show you how much i care….. i’m going to put the link after the break! muhahahaha!
